Windows 10: Windows 10 Update V1803 stuck at 42% while installing

Hello guys,


My Windows update for Version 1803 stuck at 42% while instaling. So i download Update, my laptop then restart several times and installation comes to 42%. After that it is saying something like "Restoring previous version of Windows". Until now i tried almost all possible solutions - no progress. But i saw someone posted a solution when you have 2 graphic cards in your laptop (wich is causing the problem). I have Lenovo Legion Laptop and my graphic cards are: 1) Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 & 2) Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB. Now, they are saying, i should unninstall or disable one of the graphic cards before i run WinUpdate, but im not sure how to do it and is it safe. Can someone explain that to me and tell me is it safe to do it, and will that even work. If you need more information of my laptop system to find solution please ask.

It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

keep in mind, as of recently, the FCU is installed on 5% of devices roughly.....

 

Windows Update install stuck on 42%

My work PC asked to do an update yesterday....When I went to close I clicked the update and close. This morning when I turned it back on it had the usual "working on Updates, dont turn of your PC . This will take a while" and the spinning dote. Since its
reach 42% an hr ago its been stuck...Dots no longer spinning.

Should turn the power to shut it down and retry or is there any other suggestions

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
