Windows 10: Windows 10 update ver 1803 x64 problems

I have had major problems with the last update I made to Win 10. After talking to the help desk my computer was accessed remotely yesterday by a Microsoft agent and they reinstalled Win10 to my computer to fix update errors that I could not fix. Now after the reinstall I am having connection time out problems on certain websites. I have tried several tutorials on these problems that included using a troubleshooter tool, resetting my modem, and doing a dns flush. None of that worked.


Can someone help me fix time out problems like the one pictured below.





I am having these DNS errors on some sites and not on others. What is the problem?

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

I'm scratching my head then, because so far every computer I update to 1803, even fresh installs, can no longer read the details of mkv files. But at least icaros fixes the problem for now. Hopefully the bug is fixed in Windows natively eventually.

 

Latest Updates to Windows 10 Ver 1803

I updated to Windows 10 Ver 1803 a few days back. Today, I received two MS updates but both say they are for Windows Ver 1709. The two updates are:

2018-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4103727)

2018-05 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4103729)

I had allowed the update earlier today but it only went to 30% and then would not reboot. MS tech helped me "crash" system and go back to previous version of Windows 10. That turned out to be Version 1803. Now that everything is working well again, I
am getting the two updates again awaiting install by restarting. Do you think this is going to give me the same problem again? - or perhaps the last try was just a fluke?
