Windows 10: Windows 10 update -WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY LAPTOP??

I am in no way a computer guy. I got one i like. i use it. I need it for work. I'm a lifelong windows guy. The most recent update 3/17/21 has dropped an ANCHOR in the water. What have you done to my laptop? EVERYTHING is slow. Startup. OPENING TABS. I use adobe to edit LOTS of audio and EVERYTHING now takes longer. Is this going to get fixed? Can i go back to the pre-update life?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
