Windows 10: Windows 10 update

I installed the latest update for Windows 10 on Mar 10, 2019. Ever since, when I go to some web sites, some of the text on their page is broken up. It looks like an LED sign where some of the lights have gone out. Often, moving the mouse over the broken text will bring it clear, but then text somewhere else on the page will break up. I've checked my general display settings and they are all set to "recommended" and I even turned on the "Fix Scaling for Apps". I haven't noticed the issue with any apps resident on my laptop.


My browser is Google Chrome. Is it possibly some incompatibility with the browser and this latest update?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
