Windows 10: Windows 10 UPDATE

Dear Microsoft,

I have an older lap top and your circa May/October 2018 update has been trying to install since that time. It causes my poor little laptop to hang up and remain at 1% install for days (if I let it) I have to perform a hard reboot (two or three of them) in order to get back to my desktop. A troubleshooting has already determined that my little laptop can't handle the update and I am asking for you to PLEASE, PLEASE create a fix so that I can opt out of this update. Please note that other updates are coming through fine. It's just this major Windows 10 update that keeps crashing things.

I DO NOT WANT TO revert back to Windows 7 and I CANNOT afford a new lap top at this time.

Also, please note that I HAVE TRIED getting into the update advanced features and I am NOT ABLE TO DISABLE this update.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
