Windows 10: Windows 10 Update

The latest Windows 10 Update made it so that my laptop's built-in wireless network adapter wouldn't work. This isn't the first time this has happened. In 2017, an update caused my wireless network adapter to stop working. I bought a wireless USB network adapter to get around this problem. Then after quite a long time (more than a year) another update made it so that my original built-in wireless network adapter was working again. Now the latest update has done the same thing. However, this time I did a system restore so that it is working again. So whenever I let Windows update again then my wireless network adapter will probably stop working again. When this happens, the laptop will say I've switched off the wifi (like I've turned the switch off) and when I tell it to turn on it in the Network Settings it won't do it. All of my drivers are up to date.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
