Windows 10: Windows 10 Update

When I update Windows 10 with update 1909 my Intel 1217-V Ethernet card does not work.

I have the latest driver from Intel site.


With update 1803 the card works and in update 1909, I entered the IP address and DNS server details which i copied when 1803 is running. The IP address is 192.168.0.11 and the DNS servers 106.51.115.154 and 106.51.115.144 I also have the DNS suffix "domain.name"


Even now I am in 1803 that's why I am able to access internet and send you this. each time I have to undo the update and waste a couple of hours after spending 2-3 hours to install the update


I have tried Several Times to update using 1903 or 1909 but Ethernet card says "No IP Found" so today I did as above but no use. Diagnose says "No issue found" but the Ethernet card says "No network identified."

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
