Windows 10: Windows 10 updated and now Excel opens in tiny window

My Windows 10 updated last night. I never shut my computer off so it would have closed everything I had open including Excel when it did the update and restart. This morning I noticed all my Excel files open in a very tiny window. Basically just the top and bottom bars visible. I've tried everything I can think of to get it start saving state when I close and reopen but nothing is making the window re-open at the last size used. Any ideas?

EDIT: I just noticed it will save state as long as I don't drag it to the point the Excel window doesn't snap to top and bottom of screen. I have a very wide monitor and like to have 2-3 Excel windows open side by side snapped to top and bottom.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
