Discus and support Windows 10 updated can't be completed error code : 0x80070003 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have tried troubleshooting, restarting multiple times, and googling solutions but gotten nowhere, I also had to today restart windows explorer.exe...     Windows 10 updated can't be completed error code : 0x80070003


    I have tried troubleshooting, restarting multiple times, and googling solutions but gotten nowhere, I also had to today restart windows explorer.exe because I got the whole 'class not registered' dialogue box i've sorted that error out but i have no idea about the update errors

    Hi Nilton,

    I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.

    Windows Update error "0x80070002" or "0x80070003"

    Fix Windows Update errors

    Windows defender doesn't update- Error code 0x80070003

    This applies to Windows 8/8.1 and probably applies to Win 10. Many of the suggested fixes for various issues have yet to be updated by MS to reflect whether they are applicable to the new OS.
