Windows 10: windows 10 updates and i have to keep updating?

so i updated my pc to the 2121H and my settings bugged out and it obviously restarted my pc and it updated and i opened windows 10 and it told me to update and restart again, i did it again it just said "Restarting" for like 5 minutes and it relaunched windows and it says the same thing is this normal or... any help is appreciated! also: i went back to settings and it says "Please wait..." its been like that for 7 minutes, and it says i have no internet but I'm loading on everything.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

For example it doesn't have support for the modern CPUs , mine has 6 cores and doesn't list all the temperatures. It also may need to be updated for Windows 10 Fall creator's update.
