Windows 10: Windows 10 Updates are Complete Trash! Every update screws up something!

I am just a normal pc gamer like probably millions of others out there. I rapid fire click on postpone "Windows Update" because like everyone else it screws up something every time it updates. It straight up deletes other settings and sets settings to window defaults. Un-installs drivers and installs windows defaults. Every time the update is done its "time to find what is screwed up". After today's update ... which I'm not sure when the update actually came out.. because of course I delayed it multiple times... I now "of course" have Bing as my default browser.. pffft.. But I have no sound settings at all.. because my pc suddenly doesn't know I have speakers and a headset plugged in.. None.. So I am writing this before I either restore before the update or just start to try and get everything working again.. I can't believe a multi-billion dollar company let's this trash out...

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?
