Windows 10: Windows 10 Updates - BSOD, Mouse Stutter, Updates Not Working, and Random Freezes

For the last year of so, every other Windows 10 update has broken my computer and I've had to wait for the next update to come along to properly use it again. Of course once I have an update that works, it's only a matter of time before Microsoft forces another update down my throat and it breaks again. I have gotten the BSOD, mouse stutter no it's not my hardware, no it's not my driver, it's Windows, the updates outright refusing to work through multiple boot cycles, and random freezes including when nothing is open or the computer not actually turning on or off.


I know it's Windows 10 because I have installed a few Linux OS to test it and they all work properly without the problems mentioned above, but some of the stuff I use isn't compatible with Linux so I'm stuck.


Has anyone found a fix to any of the problems above or know a way to get something other than Windows 10? I hate this OS, this is been the worst experience in my life. It was to the point it actually ruined a few of my remote working experiences, like it's to the point it disrupted my life in a hugely negative way. I'm desperate at this point, I'm losing my mind because every time this happens I can't do anything without expecting the system to crash and I'm having to save every 5 minutes and when I do sometimes it takes up to an hour to get things working again and then that's totally random.


Is there any alternative I can run that has compatibility with Windows programs out of the box? I really don't have the time to spend 80% of my time troubleshooting SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE WORKING BE DEFAULT I CAN'T GET ANYTHING DONE.

Hi,

I recently updated to windows 10 from 8.1
my specs are under my profile.

I am using a Logitech G400.

Note that, I did not have issues before all the windows updates.

It started with freezing every definite amount of time like 4 second gap. I saw that Logitech has brought out a new driver in mid June, and it seems to make it a bit better. Still it came back after some time.

I have disabled the Windows Update service since it always tries to download chunks when i am gaming. Not sure if this is related to that.

I have run stress test on CPU, FPU, RAM, GPU , HDD all of them to emulate the kind of freezing i get, but it seems its not hardware related.

Finally fedup of curzor lagging every few seconds i decided to try USB 3 port. That did the job, but after some time the mouse starts freezing again, this time at random intervals.

I have noticed it goes up when i am playing Minecraft. I have Java 10.* installed.

i tried removing realtek audio as well, but that did not help.

I am using Eset Nod32 antivirus.

I am monitoring my HDD, but there is nothing being demanded at the time of stutter. Page file is system managed. HDD is not very old. Its a WD Blue EZEX and shows no errors. I even have new SATA cables.

AMD HD7700 drivers has also been updated.
