Windows 10: Windows 10 updates create malfunction

My other laptop has windows 10. It updated yesterday 04-26-2022 and now my mouse is freezing periodically then suddenly jumping all over the place. Also now windows is extremely slow & taking as long as two minutes to do any function? I try to go to settings via the windows key it takes over one minute and sometimes two minutes. Malwarebytes scans daily and no issues or threats ever found. On two different occasions last night I tried to open 4k video downloader and one other app then after two or more minutes both opened with multiple tabs in each app. And here is even more weird things w
