Windows 10: Windows 10 Updates will not install

WHY IS IT WINDOWS 10 UPDATES HAVE STOPPED WORKING?



I have run Windows updates everyway possible and each time all I get is error code message or after running Media CreationTool which all seems to be working fine until the very end when I see a message on screen “Undoing changes made to your computer” which takes about 2 hours to do nothing.



My PC is running Windows 10 Pro and the last time my PC updated with MS updates was on 19/05/19. All other programs that are not MS will update or I can install other programmes with no problem only MS updates will now not work.

I have found lots of people on chat sites have got the same problem as I have and I believe that this problem was caused by one or more of the last updates.



I have also downloaded “Reset-WindowsUpdate.ps1” and run this script as administrator without success.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
