Windows 10: Windows 10 updates

I have Windows 10 on my Dell PC. I am running version 1803 and Windows has not updated since 11/14/2018. It will not let me check for updates giving me the error "We couldn't connect to the updates service. We will try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet." I am connected and have made sure there are no other issues with the internet.

Windows is also not letting me activate it. I am getting the following error when trying to activate it and then running the troubleshooter. 0x80070002. I have followed almost all trouble shooting I can find and nothing seems to be working. Because of these issues I am not able to run any games or programs until this is fixed. Please help!

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
