Windows 10: windows 10 updates

hey!

currently i am in college where i use the lan and wifi connection that is provided to us by the cisco anyconnect services and without whose software we can not use the above two. now the problem is that due to the cisco anyconnect services i am not able to update the windows, drivers or the store apps and although it shows that no updates are available but when i stop the cisco services and reboot the pc and connect to the internet using my phone's hotspot, the updates appear and start downloading. there are numerous pcs that use the same network but dont face this problem and what is surprising though is that if i re enable the cisco services the updates stop downloading and then dont show up when i next search for them. since its inevitable for me to stop using the cisco services please suggest what should i do?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
