Windows 10: Windows 10 Upgrade and Install both fail at 48%

Hi Friends, Tried several times to upgrade Windows 10 to 21H1. But, it repeatedly failed using online upgrade method and the media creation tool with USB drive.In fact, tried the most recommended~ steps to rename SoftwareDistribution directory and deleted contents of catroot2 directory. And, restarted all the services after to hope for a success, but no luck! Unable to understand what is stopping windows at 48%. This time have message captured as screen shot after trying with USB drive install method. Let me know if anyone of you found it's solution. Maybe the screens shot might give you clue

Windows 10 1909 Upgrade Freezes at 48%

I am having problem with Windows 10 1909 Upgrade Freezes at 48%. Tried installation twice and failed. Any suggestion on how to complete the upgrade ? Please advise.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
