    Hi, I am trying to upgrade my Windows 8.1 machine to Windows 10 and have failed several times with this error, 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D. "The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation." I have tried looking here for other people with the same error, but in the cases I could find I see that they had an unusual user profile in their registry which I don't seem to have as far as I can tell. Other things I have tried so far:Clean booting the machine then trying the installer.Unplugging all USB devices besides the mouse.Uninstalled any programs I'm not usin

    I'm trying to update my PC from Windows 7 to 10. I use the media creation tool and the update will proceed roughly half-way before it rolls back and i get the following error message:

    0x800707E7 - 0x3000D

    "The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation"

    I have already researched this problem on the web and tried pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find, but without success.

    I've uploaded the Panther & Rollback logs to the following OneDrive location:Logs

    Hello, these days I was trying to install Windows 10 on my Windows 7 starter, as it was almost installed I got the error 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D at 56% of the final download, I was looking for answers but none of them helped me.

    My notebook meets all the features to install Windows 10 and uninstall all antivirus.

    I tried to update my pc from windows 10 pro version 1909 to version 2004 but every time I got the error code 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D. I tried all suggestions that Microsoft and other forums mentioned but it did not help. I disconnect all external hardware,
    disable antivirus, use DSM, ...etc. but no help. Always getting the same error code. I use windows assistant and media creation tool but always getting the same error code. In my kids pc the update succeeded using media creation tool, and also succeeded in
    my laptop with regular update. Could you please help me with upgrading my pc to windows 10 version 2004.
