  2. Cannot access D drive since upgrading to Windows 10.

    Hello Judy,

Thank you for replying quickly with the status of the issue.

Please reply to few more questions:

    • Is the D: drive located on the same hard disk or on different hard disk?

    • Did you have any important data saved on the
      D:
      drive?

If the D: is saved on another hard disk and you are unable to access it, I suggest you to format the drive completely and check if the issue is resolved.

To format the hard disk, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
      Disk management option.

    • Right click on the D: drive and select
      Format option.

    • Wait for the formatting to complete and check if the changes are effective.

Write to us with the status of the issue for further assistance. Your reply is most important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.

    Thank you.

  3. Windows 10 upgrade rant..

The free space shouldn't prevent you from upgrading to built 1607. I manually upgraded my own laptop which had only 9gigs free space left on the system drive.

I unzipped the Windows 10 Pro anniversary edition ISO on my D drive, and started the upgrade process from there. At one point the installer complained about not having enough free space on the main drive, i just had to point it to the D drive to proceed to the next step. Now the rollback installation is stored there and doesn't clog up the C drive anymore.

In your case you could insert a large sdcard to act as the required rollback drive, i'm pretty sure it would do the trick.

Oh and by the way, if you want to further compress your System files:
    • do a search Command Prompt, right-click it, and select Run as administrator.
    • Type COMPACT.EXE /CompactOS:always and hit Enter.
You'll will gain anything from 2 to 4 gigs free space after it's done.

  4. Windows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible?

A partition drive is e and not d in windows 10

Hi guys, when I installed windows 10 I did it using a USB. I went from windows 7 to windows 10. With Windows 7 I had made a partition, so I had OS (CWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :) and (Data (DWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :). When I installed Windows 10 (using the USB), what used to be Data (DWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :), became (Data (EWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :),
as the usb became Drive (DWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :). So what I have now, after removing the usb is: OS (CWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :) and (Data (EWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :). And whenever I connect and external drive, such as a usb or a backup external hard drive, it becomes Drive (DWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :). My question is if this is a problem, to have
OS (CWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :) and (Data (EWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :), instead of Data being D:? Is it important for Data to be D and not E, because when I start my computer, I don't always have connected a Drive D? Should I always have something connected to the computer so it becomes Drive D? Should
I re-install Windows 10 and make sure that Data is D:? Is this an issue for having (Data (EWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :) and not as (Data (DWindows 10 upgrade without format C , D , E drives is that possible? :)? I'm saying this because it's not following a right sequence and C and E are partitions, which were part of a same drive once, and it's not
following a sequence now. My computer has had some issues and I'm wondering if this could be the cause.

    Thanks!
