    hi,I installed a fresh copy of windows 10 on my laptop due to problems I was having with windows. due to not being able to backup files, i was counting on the windows.old file creation. that worked. after install I verified the files were there using windows explorer. I let the laptop update and that file disappeared. within 24 hours the file is gone. i try recoverit to recover the file and it finds it, but while trying recuva the file disappears. i go back to recoverit and now willing to buy the software for a year, and windows.old cannot be found. Any help would be appreciated. how can I fi

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
