Windows 10: Windows 10 USB drive installer error code 0x800703EE

I've done everything, I tried switching partition styles for both the USB drive and the target drive with Rufus and diskpart.exe, going so far as to wipe the target drive clean, but it always stops at around 49% at "Getting installation files ready." This whole charade has been going on for days and I am sick of it all, especially when people simply abandon me after making my problem much worse. Please, I am desperate.

Did you solve your problem? I have exact same problem; Error 0x800703ee when windows 10 tries installing 1607. I've also tried your initial steps; no luck.

New on the forum, long time lurker.

So my problem. Windows 10 wont update. Error code "0x800703ee". Things i have tried so far:

• Cleaned and restarted Windows Update
• SFC /Scannow
• Followed this guide: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...d-8928bd7831be
• Tried updating via ISO
• Tried the" Win 10 Upgrade Assistant"

A while ago i had to recreate my EFI parition, perhaps it has something to do with it?
The last thing is to do a clean install, but such a hassel with all my hours of customization down the drain.

Windows Media Creation Tool Error code 0x800703EE-0xA0019

I went through just these steps.

1, Rufus: (now it's 3.1 version)

Using UEFI NTFS, GPT partition scheme.

Rufus run successfully

2. run windows media creation (now it's 1803)

select ISO as Sumit (Independent Advisor)suggested

download successfully

verified successfually

preparing the media, got Error code 0x800703EE-0xA0019 at 95% completion......

basically the problems remain the same.........

I also tried selecting USB as the media to boot, got Error code 0x80004005 - 0xA001A at 50% completion.......
