Windows 10: Windows 10 user

I set up my new pc, added my husband as a user and then decided to delete it and just change my account name to his as i rarely use the pc. Now when i start the pc i see two accounts both labeled with his name. I went to account settings but there is only one account there. I tried the Windows R, but still only see one account. How can i track down where this other account is so that i can delete it?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
