Windows 10: Windows 10 v 1903 "Cannot connect to this network"

I have been having this "Cannot connect to this network" issue for multiple days now, I have tried fixing it for hours and hours .... I NEED HELP!!!!


I thought it was the WiFi that was the issue, however other computers and my phone were able to connect to the WiFi. Then I went to a coffee shop and was able to connect to public WiFi. I also was able to connect to my phone's hotspot. But I cannot connect to private WiFi. I then went to another house to try to connect to the WiFi and the same "Cannot connect to this network" issue is happening.

I was able to connect to XFINITY hotspot, then I reset network settings and am no longer able to connect to the XFINITY hotspot, but I can connect to my phone's hotspot.


Things that I've tried that don't help and have not fixed it:

• I thought it could be my Linksys WUSB6300 wifi adapter, I contacted Linksys for help, uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter over 6 times, with restarting my computer in between. This did not solve the issue.
• Restarted WiFi modem.
• Enabled/disabled and reinstalled the Realtek 8822BE wireless adapter 5+ times.
• Troubleshooting my device countless times.
• Rebooted device
• Download the most recent KB
• Forgot all known networks
• Reset network settings and now I cannot connect to any public or private network (besides my phone's hotspot).

I spoke with friends who have the exact same issue. THERE HAS TO BE A FIX. THIS IS A WINDOWS PROBLEM.

Internet ran flawlessly when connected to WiFi that I was already connected to. Then when going to a new WiFi, the "Cannot connect to this network" issue arises.

No WiFi in Win10 Pro (1903) Windows Sandbox


I (seemingly) successfully updated my Surface Pro 6 to v.1903 today, and after some initial fumbles enabling it, now have Windows Sandbox enabled and it seems to open just fine. However, there is no WiFi access within Sandbox.

Accessing Settings for Network & Internet, the list on the left is:
Status
Ethernet
Dial-up
VPN
Airplane mode
Date usage
Proxy
WiFi appears no place in that window. Network status shows No Internet Access.

What step am I missing to be able to access the internet from within the Sandbox using my computer's WiFi connection?

 

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.
