  1. Windows 10 v1803 - Network application slow

    Hello,

I've recently updated a Panasonic CF-33 to Windows 10 v1803 through Windows updates and we are experiencing slowness when trying to run certain network applications. I can path my way out to the .exe file through the network using Windows Explorer but the minute I try to run the application it's slow. It takes a good 5 mins. to launch the login screen. We still have some Windows 10 v1709 builds that run as they should. I don't want Microsoft to tell me to roll back the OS. If you have an update out there that's going to install automatically through the Windows updates then we need a fix for this, please. Thoughts? Suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Meredith Nicholson

    :)

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
