Windows 10: Windows 10 ver 21H2

I recently read that Microsoft is closing support for Windows 10 version 21H2 on June 11 2024. I'm not tech savvy, all I know is that I have Windows 10 Pro. I don't really know the specific version which is on my laptop. This leads to my question, should I upgrade to windows 11 asap? Or am fine for now?

PC Will Not Boot Up With Windows 10 Ver. 21H2

I updated to the latest version of Windows 10 ver. 21H2 build 19044-1620, and now my PC will not boot up. This has been an ongoing issue now for 2 months. The hard drive light blinks on and off but never boots up. The prior update caused a long boot up time of 2 to 3 minutes, now the PC will not boot up. Any suggestions to fix this problem?

Upgrading from Windows 10 1709 to 21H2 fails

I have an HP laptop with AMD 6-9225 Radeon R4 that has never been upgraded from its original Windows 10 ver. 1709. I have attempted to upgrade it to the latest Windows 10 ver. 21H2, but the install fails every time. I have followed every suggestion I can find on the internet, hoping someone could steer me to success but to no avail. I'm not sure if this particular HP laptop is capable of being upgraded to 21H2. It does not appear in a list on the HP website of those models that was tested for 21H2 compatibility. I really would like to try an earlier version such as 1909 or 2004 to see if they would install okay, but I can not find a way to do that. When I use the Create Windows 10 installation media tool, it automatically goes to 21H2. It doesn't give me the option to choose an earlier version. I thought maybe I could get an earlier version from the Microsoft Update Catalog, but I have no idea how to find it in the thousands of downloads listed there. Does anyone know if there is a way to download and install an earlier version of Windows 10? Your help will be appreciated.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
