Windows 10: Windows 10, version 1607

Discus and support Windows 10, version 1607 in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; After this update I have a Windows-Old folder, 17.6 gig. Can this folder be deleted?     After this update I have a Windows-Old folder, 17.6 gig. Can this folder be deleted? Happy with update and will not go back to 1511.

    Every day windows update reinstall patch KB4049411 and KB4033631

    Hi Gentlemen, how can i solve this? I already try the windows update troubleshooter.

    Windows 10, version 1607

    Its normal behaviour for the installer to leave this folder behind. It allows you to roll back if something went wrong. If you're sure everythings behaving normally then yes you can remove the folder. Use built in disk cleaner, click on c: then click the clean up system files button. Make sure old system install is ticked.

    You can use the standard disk cleanup. Just check on Advanced and select Old Windows Installations or something like that. By the way, after about 30 days, Windows will delete it for you. You can just leave it there so if you remember something you needed in the old folders on the 29th day, you can still go get.

    For clarity, you need to tick boxes as swarfega says in the popup list that pops up second time.

    If you just leave it alone, Windows will delete it anyway - exactly 10 days after your install date.

    Thanks Guys, will leave it and let windows do its work. Got to say this update went well for me,no problems at all. What would we
    do without Windows,so much better then Dos. Lol
