Discus and support Windows 10 version 1903 and AMD Athlon II X4 640 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Dear, I fail to update our Windows 10 version 1903.     Windows 10 version 1903 and AMD Athlon II X4 640


    Dear,


    I fail to update our Windows 10 version 1903. Processor is an AMD Athlon II X4 640.

    Tried to update and install version 1909.

    But it fails with the same message "We couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off." although the PC was never turned off.


    Could you please let me know what I have to do?


    I know that my desktop is old, but it is still doing what I need including photoshop etc …

    I am thinking of getting a AMD Athlon II X4 640 anyone have clues on how it performs / over clocks I am hoping to get 3.4GHZ

    Will this CPU work in this Motherboard???? Athlon 640

    yes it should take it, the 640's been out long enough and it is an AM3 socket. i don't see the need to update, and you are talking about the Athlon II X4 640 right?

    for what use? if you're a gamer, get a dual core phenom II instead, for the extra cache.
