Windows 10: Windows 10 version 1904 to 2004

I'm using licensed Windows 10 version 1904 update with Home edition. I checked updates and it downloaded Windows 10 Version 2004 update with the same edition. It prompts to restart the laptop to complete the installation set up of Windows 10 Version 2004 update. Will my personal files be automatically deleted if I restart and update to Windows 10 version 2004 update?

Updated from Version 10.0.18363.1016 to 2004, but it currently shows 1904

Hi,

I have performed all steps above (outside of the repair). Is there anything else I can do prior to a repair?

None of the above worked to solve my issue. The update tool still just says thank you for updating to the latest version, windows update has no new updates, "ver" still shows 1904, and installed updates still shows 2004.

Having problem update to Windows 10, version 2004
