    Windows 10 version 2004 and 20H2 — KB4592438 (OS Builds 19042.685) I recieved this update...


    Windows 10 version 2004 and 20H2 — KB4592438 (OS Builds 19041.685 and 19042.685) I recieved this update and after installation I am facing screeching sound through my earplugs. I updated all the drivers and also uninstalled and installed them again yet this problem exists. Is anyone facing this problem or knows any fix?

    This is a well known bug. No, there's nothing wrong with any of the 20H2 ISOs, the error is in the installed OS. It reports itself to Setup as being a higher version than 20H2. This is fixed by updating to build 19042.662 or higher before attempting the repair install.

    If you are trying the repair install because you can't update then there are a couple of options available. The first is available if you updated from 2004 to 20H2 by the enablement package through Windows Update. Uninstall the enablement package KB4562830 to go back to 2004, then you can do the repair install.

    If that's not possible, then some registry changes will allow you to keep files and apps in a repair install. Ztrucker has written a script to do that for you.

    Hi, this is Gavin. I am currently using Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.572).

    I want to currently upgrade to Latest Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Version "20H2". I would like to know as if when is Microsoft expected to launch Version "20H2". Any idea or update on that.

    Can i upgrade right now to Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Version "20H2", if Yes then how???
