Windows 10: Windows 10 Version 2004 Can not Install

When I do Check for Updates in Windows 10 I get the following message: "The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. Once it’s ready for your device, you’ll see the update available on this page." This message has been there since May or June of this year. Why is it taking so long to be able to update to Version 2004?


Also, will I be able to update to the October/2020 Windows 10 update later this Fall WITHOUT first updating to Version 2004?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

To solve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Rollback to the last Stable version of Windows. Basically, restore your system to the last stable point.

2. Download the Windows Update Assistant tool.

3. Install the updates as recommended by that tool.

Note: Windows 10 version 2004 has brought a lot of bugs with it. The best way to move forward is to wait until a patched Windows 10 version 2004 is released.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
