Windows 10: Windows 10 version 20H2 won't update error code 0x800700c1

Discus and support Windows 10 version 20H2 won't update error code 0x800700c1 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Windows 10 version 20H2 keeps failing with error code 0x800700c1.     Windows 10 version 20H2 won't update error code 0x800700c1


    Windows 10 version 20H2 keeps failing with error code 0x800700c1. I have gone through every fix I've been able to find and they all haven't worked. I've been in a live chat with a Microsoft Support person multiple times and even their recommended fixes failed one being the Inplace Upgrade. I'm unable to play certain games because my Windows is outdated and I've spent so much time now trying to fix it. Any ideas?

    Windows 10 version 20H2 keeps failing with error code 0x800700c1. I have gone through every fix I've been able to find and they all haven't worked. I've been in a live chat with a Microsoft Support person and even their recommended fix failed. I'm unable to play certain games because my Windows is outdated and I've spent so much time now trying to fix it. Any ideas?

    Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3135782) - Error 0x800700c1

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3176493) - Error 0x800700c1

    I have run the Windows Update Troubleshooter, rebooted, and tried to manually install these, all with the same results.

    Any suggestions?

    Error 0x800700c1 in windows 10

    I have got the error 0x800700C1 and could not update KB3115259, KB3167685, KB3163018 & KB3149135 since a week ago. I tried both you two methods but the result was the same. I don't wish to follow hbja to go back to "Factory Setting". Can you help me sort
    it out with other solutions?
