  1. Windows 10 Version 22H2 DVD ISO too large for DVD

The windows.iso generated by the MediaCreationTool 22H2 as found here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 for Windows 10, Langugae English United States, Architecture 64-Bit x64, has a size of 4,893,900,800 bytes. This is more than than the support capacity of a single sided DVD-R or DVD+R which is just 4,696,834,048 bytes or 4,689,887,232 bytes respectively. Non surprisingly, the Windows Disc Image Burner will not burn the iso and abort with status "The disc image file is too large and will not fit on the recordable disc".

  2. ISO Too Large for DVD

Downloaded the ISO image for both 32 and 64bit. There is no indication that the file will be to large to fit a regular DVD. After downloading almost 6GB of an ISO file, I cannot burn it to a DVD and my internet cost is going up....

This makes no sense that the download option would not confirm file size and warn users....

Is there anyway to still use this file ?

    Thanks

    J.

  3. iso file too large for DVD

Downloaded the ISO file (5.75 GB) and tried to burn it to DVD (7 GB). Tried with two different machines. Both tell me the file is too large for the DVD.

Tried to boot to a flash drive and it will not boot in the computer requiring repairs from "inaccessible_boot_device".

    Can someone help?

    Thanks
