Windows 10: Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems not installing

Hi there, I am trying to and have been trying for months now to update my wife's laptop. the latest cumulative update will not installI have tried going through past posts in communityhave tried clearing all files in c:/windows/SoftwareDistribution/Dwnloadalso cleared temp filesrebooted and run windows update - downloads fine then installs but when it the reboots it wont configure then spends 30mins rolling back updatehave just found another thread which uses SFCFix so am trying that but cannot download the .zip file as instructed by the post. is the Zip file necessary? need to install this up

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2  

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update. • the above update is downloaded and tried to install in my hp pavilion laptop.
  
• the update is successfully downloaded while installing it is throwing an error says that error "Install error - 0x800f081f".
  
• how tp rectify it..
