Windows 10: Windows 10 Version 22H2 KB5022834 will not update.

Tried downloading it four times and yet not updated. Please help. Is it important to update this version as my laptop was running windows 7 when I bought it.

Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update

Update KB5022834 does not install on my PC and performs a rollback after restart, similar to the issue described in Redirecting

I have tried installing the update multiple times through Windows Update, as well as downloading and installing the update file directly, but so far it has not succeeded.

Running winver.exe shows Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2006)

Failed to install on ‎27/‎02/‎2023 - 0x800f0922 - Windows 10 Version 22H2 update (KB5022834)

I have been following another question with the same/similar problem of being unable to install the Windows 10 Version 22H2 update (KB5022834) With a failure code 0x800f0922.

I also get the same error for the KB5022906.

KB5022834 - WINDOWS 10 UPDATE NOT INSTALLING - AMD64 vs X64 system

Hi Todd,

The 1st set of CBS logs indicated that the update was successfully installed and a reboot was pending, but the version number didn't change (winver.exe should say 19042.2604 if the update has been applied. But it didn't.). I think it may have been installed partially.

Pls try these steps now:

Step 1:

• Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop.
  
• Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  
• Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  
• On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  
• Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. [See illustration image]
  
• SFCFix will now process the script.
  
• Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.
  

Step 2:

• Download the updated fixlist.txt.
  
• Place fixlist.txt in the same folder as FRST64.
  
• Run FRST64 and click Fix.
  
• Upload Fixlog.txt.
  

Step 3:

Download the offline installer for 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) and install it.

Upload the fresh set of CBS logs if the update errors out. But I hope it goes through fine.
