Windows 10: Windows 10, very slow download of updates

I'm using Windows 10 Pro and have a big problem with extremely slow download of updates.

My internet connection speed is >20Mbps (I can normally download files from microsoft.com with full 20Mbps)
After getting new updates, they start OK, downloading with full 20Mbps for few minutes and then suddenly drop to 0-100kbps with a lot of updates still not downloaded completely (seemingly stuck at various download percentages). Eventually they get downloaded (sometimes after few days!) and update installation is running normally (very quick).

Troubleshot -> Windows Update shows no problems.
Restart doesn't fix this behavior either.
Internet connection is not a problem since during this period of slow update downloads I can normally download files from microsoft.com with full 20Mbps.

How to fix this???

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.

To stop the download, uninstall the KB3035583 update (under "Control Panel > Windows Update > Installed Updates").


To get rid of the C:\$Windows.~BT folder:

• Right-click on your C: drive.
• Select "Properties".
• Click on [ Disk Cleanup ]
• After the initial scan: If you have a [ Clean up system files ] button, click it and wait for the second scan to finish.
• Scroll down the list and look for "Temporary Windows installation files" (its size should be in the gigabytes range); check the box.
• Click on [ OK ] to start the clean-up.
