    Windows 10 very slow/non responding when using skype calls through Skype Application


    Hi,

    When I connect to Skype meeting through my Skype Desktop Application, windows 10 slows down extremely to the point that even a cursor movement takes lot of time and unable to switch between tabs or opened applications. Every other action and application response slows down and sometimes even stop responding. This issue does not occur if I join the meeting through Internet Browser Skype application. Can you advise if there is any patch/fix release for the same.

    This is my work computer and I am using Windows 10 Enterprise for the same.

    New Skype Version Released

    Although, not one of my favourite programs, Skype is considered a high priority software application. The latest 3.5.0.239 release, is now available for download and it fixes some major bugs:
    • bugfix: Links with invalid % encodings were executed
    • bugfix: Data execution protection may have crashed Skype
    • bugfix: Pressing escape did not end call
    • Security improvements to ensure it is no longer possible to shut down Skype from a web page

    Skype for Windows 8 Unveiled

    Skype for Windows 8 will be available on October 26. You can find it on your new Windows 8 device and or download it from the Windows Store.
