  1. Windows 10 Video Editor "select all" on storyboard???

    Hello world.

I am using Windows 10 Video Editor part of the Photos app? to create an animation. I need to set each image to a duration of 0.04 seconds for the images to run at 24 frames per second. However, with hundreds of images, I cannot seem to select all images to change their duration in bulk. I have to click each image individually before going to "duration" and altering the time.

Is there any way to select all on the storyboard?

Is there any way to change the default duration of images?

Full disclosure, this is for a student of mine who cannot install any other software and is stuck with the W10 video editor!

    Thanks all:

    :)

    Video Editor

I am using MS Video Editor and am working on a project that has both videos and .jpg pics. When I went to open the editor, the project would load, it shows the pics and videos I have loaded into the project, but the Storyboard wouldn't load. It looks
like the app is trying to load the storyboard, but after a few minutes, the app shuts down. I followed the steps online to repair and reset and have now lost my work, but I want to be sure the app is working properly and there are no issues with it before
I start and rebuild the project. Also, the app autosave my work, where does it put the saved Storyboard file?

  3. Windows video editor problems - different video lenght between project library and storyboard

    Good morning.

I have Windows 10 64 bits. I am using the windows video editor app.

I imported 2 videos to the project library. I added them to the storyboard and changed their speed and trimmed them to suit what I wanted.

After finishing the project and watching the final cut, I noticed that the second video was too short (0.47 seconds), so I wanted to fix it. Thinking that I might have trimmed it incorrectly I went to the project and storyboard and added from my library
the entire video again. This video was about 35 minutes. When I added it again, the storyboard showed the video as it was 0.47 seconds. I checked the speed just in case and it was x1, so it was not accelerated. It was just trimmed. I added the original video
to the project library just in case and use it again, but the same thing happened. The video got trimmed to 0.47 seconds once I added it to the storyboard.

I restarted the software to see if that would change anything, but it didn't.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. If I had to guess, I would say that somehow there was a time limit set for the entire video forcing things to be cut down. But this is not something that happened to me before and I made longer videos with no issue.

Any advice would be greatly welcomed!

    Thank you,

    Sincerely,

    Florencia

  4. Windows 10 Video Editor "select all" on storyboard???

Microsoft Photos Video editor: Windows 10

I love using the video editor from the Windows 10 update, but I feel so limited to what I can produce when I compose on the editor. Since its storyboard based its almost linear in how I'm allowed to edit. Will the editor ever have a timeline based editing
    format added to it?
