    windows 10 virtualbox NAT network connection bit pattern incorrect


    Hi,

    My windows 10 pc cannot receive/transmit the correct bit pattern from virtualbox NAT connection through a specified port.

    I have been able to do so with any windows 7 desktop.

    Is there any default settings in windows 10 that would change the bit pattern that I have to fix to conform to windows 7?

    Or do I need to do more on virtualbox NAT port forwarding ?

    Network issues after several hours

    The issues appear to be related to VirtualBox's Bridged Networking. It seems like it's causing issues with the DNS on the host machine. For anyone dealing with the problem, the quick fix is to use NAT mode instead.
