Windows 10: Windows 10 VPN at Windows Login, Icon not showing

Hi all,

ive been around the boards a while but have never signed up, i thought it was about time as a friend and I have been banging our heads with an issue.

the issue is, we can set up a VPN in windows 10, we can connect to the remote site when logged in to windows. we want to have the VPN connect at the login screen so that the domain credentials can be used by the logging on user.

Ctrl+Alt+Del is enabled as its domain joined, during the VPN setup we have selected the allow other users to use this connection when creating a dial up connection to connect to a workplace using my internet.

what we expect to see is the following but it is not visible. so cannot connect before login.





Any help from past experience is appreciated in advance.

Windowsphone ver 10 - VPN padlock icon not displaying above wifi status icon when connected and sending data.

Just setup a VPN on my partners windows 10 phone and although the VPN appears to be working because it shows as connected in vpn settings and the notification window there is no padlock icon above the wifi status indicator when sending/receiving data. Is
there some other setting in windows 10 I am missing to make it show that. Tried resetting/reconnecting the VPN, rebooting the phone etc several times without success to get the padlock icon to show. The VPN padlock shows above the wifi status indicator on
my windows 8 phone ok. Any suggestions please?
