Windows 10: Windows 10 VPN server only one client at a time

Hello

I setup vpn server on windows 10 PRO pc by using build-in "new incoming connection" + two vpn users tablet1, tablet2. + vpn dhcp with IP pool with many addresses.

Both tablets can connect but only one at a time.

When second tries to connect I get:

"because another connection of your type is in use, the incoming connection cannot accept your connection request".

is it limited by gpo policy?

Need a vpn server for windows 2008 web

They're on seperate sites. The asa at one, a Windows Web server on the other.

I had tested the cisco vpn client in Windows xp 64bit. Most of the time it would fail to bring up the adapter it used for the VPN connection. 32 bit it was fine.

I'll be sure to try anyconnect as well. Thanks.

@jrracingfan. We want to be able to share files and services from one site to the other. So remote desktop would not work for this.

I'm using a Synology NAS configured as a VPN Server (on my LAN). I have a Spectrum Cable ISP for internet access. I've configured the router to forward the necessary packets required by the VPN server.

On the client side, I'm using a Windows 10 PC laptop. For testing purposes, I have it connected to a Mobile Wifi device. So, the server and client are on separate internet connections.

As per your suggestion, I'll likely switch to IPSEC. But for the moment, I'm going to leave it as is, for testing purposes.

 

Best FREE vpn client? Need to connect to my home VPN


I created a remote access VPN (l2tp/ipsec) on my router at my house. If I want to connect to my VPN server remotely ,what do you suggest as a good free vpn client?

I know windows 10 has a built in vpn client, but would I notice any improvments (speed, stability, etc) using like cisco anywhere connect or any other free vpn clients?
