    Windows 10 was offering me 1903, but now it's offering 1909. I want to install 1903 instead.


    Is there any way I can still upgrade to 1903, without losing my files and programs? I hear there's many issues with upgrading to 1909 from 1809, and I don't want to have to deal with them.

    WU Not Offering 1909

    I understand from posts like this one that you may have taken steps to control windows updates. If so, that may explain it. All my (unmodified) machines were offered 1909....

    Win 10: Version 1903 vs 1909 - Which is better?

    A fresh install shouldn't be necessary if your PC is being offered 1909 in windows update. Just click 'download and install now'.
