    Windows 10 - WD MyBookWorld


    I can not see or access MyBookWorld drive on my new computer running Windows 10. Sorry I have no idea how to set this up. My ex used to do this kind of thing for me. I need simple steps please. Thank you.

    I have contacted Western Digital. MyBookWorld is not supported in Windows 10 nor will it be in the future.

    Thanks Bushy2015 - this did the trick for my Win10 Surface Pro3 and WD MyBookWorld drive. Able to connect and backup as before!

    Windows 10 - WD MyBookWorld Driver issue

    I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 & have encountered the following problem.

    My WD MyBookWorld is visible & accessible in File Explorer under "Network" however File History doesn't display it as an available drive to save copies of my files.

    In Control Panel\Devices & Printers the MyBookWorld appears in "Devices" & Multimedia Devices. Under Devices the Status is Driver Error \ Needs Troubleshooting, no status is displayed in the Multimedia Devices section.

    I have run the troubleshooter several times but this has not resolved the issue
