Windows 10: Windows 10 white screen on boot ever since update to 2004 20h1

I believe 2004 update, which I had to remove back in summer 2020 due to it locking me, the admin, out of my device manager/etc, has ruined my computer and I am writing to see how I can make my own bootable dvd of windows 10 that I bought? Since 1909 is the last build that worked on my computer and it isnt even working now since 2004 is being pushed, I would like a way to use DBAN and start from scratch. Or, should I just use SupportAssist reset to factory setting? I would prefer to somehow make a bootable Windows 10 Core which SupportAssist says is somewhere on my computer, ready for factory

2004 update windows 10 error 0x80070002

Hello everyone,

thanks to some of the suggestions here and to some from other sources I have managed to fix the 0x80070002 error breaking up my feature update to 2004.

For completeness' sake and since it may help others, the following steps worked for me.

1. Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website
2. Create a bootable USB drive with the MCT
3. Boot up from this USB Drive
4. Choose install settings, click 'Next', but on the next screen select "Repair your computer" instead of "Install"
5. Choose "Troubleshoot" -> "Startup Repair" and let it finish
6. Restart into Windows and attempt the usual Windows update

It looks like the BCD on my computer had been damaged by the boot loader (Windows 10 + Recovery partition) and running the "Startup Repair" from the installation USB Drive corrected the errors.

features in Win. 10 20h1

hello:

I reinstalled Win. 10 to 20h1 or 2004, but I like to know where is the banner under settings? I don't see it. I've read that there is that feature in 20h1 but I don't see it. Why is it the new Edge is not offered in the Windows update? I have to install
it manually.
