Windows 10: Windows 10 WiFi disables itself on cold boots

Having an ongoing issue with Windows 10 wifi dropping the moment Windows is booted was connected just fine, then drops. Then it goes through the long process of disabling the wifi adapter, checking for errors in connection, and then slowly reconnects to wifi. Sometimes it immediately drops again. A full reboot usually gets the job done but not always. Using Realtek 8814AU wifi adapter, and wireless signal is excellent - gets 90% of our ISP speed.I have to completely restart the computer every time this happens, because sometimes it doesn't reconnect or even see wireless networks.Also, this

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:

1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
3. Disabled Fast Boot

None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks

 

Windows 10 PC, issues with sleep and slow boots

This is my fiancees machine, recently assembled out of spare parts. Previous setup did not have this issue, so its confusing me. Only real change is the ram and CPU from an i5 2400

Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3-B3
Corsair GS600W PSU
XFX 6870 1GB
1TB samsung HDD.

Windows 10.


So the problems are fun and interesting:

1. The intel management Interface is showing a Code 10 "status_device_power_failure" in device manager. I've tried 9.5, 10 and 11 drivers from the intel website. same problem on all.

2. Sleep mode simply does not work - waking the system seems to work, after 2 seconds it reboots and powers up from a cold boot like it was hibernated (boots very slowly too). With hibernate disabled, it just does a very slow cold boot.

3. I may just be used to SSD's, but the system seems to boot a lot slower than i expect it should even from a cold boot.

Thoughts, suggestions, fixes etc?

 

Wifi not working after upgrade to Windows 10

This didn't work for me. Tried updating drivers, cold boot, disable/re-enable, nothing works. You can see the wifi card in the list, but it won't see or connect to anything. I called Dell, they tried everything they knew, and sent me to Microsoft. I
hate to roll back to Win8, but that's my next step if MS can't fix it. I'm not going to reformat my system.
