Windows 10: windows 10 will freeze for a while plus when restart or shutdown BSOD

Hi, when i use my PC no matter if im browsing the web or playing a game the screen will freeze, i cant move my mouse or type but i can stll hear my music or the game im playing. it will freeze for 30 seconds to 3 - 4 mins and after that it will resume back to normal and will occur any time between 5 - 20 mins.

whenever i restart or shut down my PC i get a BSOD which says driver power state failure at the bottom

windows version 1909 installed on 17/03/2020 OS build 18363.778

Hard drive/ OS issue

a guy suggested :

• shutdown
• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD
• restarted
• yay !!

BSOD and freezing

Yesterday I started up my laptop from hibernating and it freezes, after restarting several times I get a BSOD which freezed on the BSOD one time.
After restarting again the laptop freezed at the Welcome screen.
I have had the freezing before, it was gone for about 2 months.
I did not install any new hardware.
Now it seems to run fine again.

But what is causing the freezing and the BSOD?
I bought this laptop last January.
