Windows 10: Windows 10 will not load from DVD

I have a Dell Precision t3600 workstation that I replaced the hard drive in, and now it will not load using the dvd that was supplied.

I can get the system to boot from the dvd, but it will not load the OS. It keeps telling me that i need to reset the computer, but it won't even do that, it errors out. It says something about not seeing a partition that I requires. I thought the OS would be smart enough to create a partition in a new hard drive.


I put the drive in an enclosure and formatted it to NTFS, just to make sure there wasn't a problem with that, and still no luck getting it to load.

The dvd that I have is a factory load disk from Dell, Windows 10 Pro, with a product key.

Anyone have any idea what might be the problem? I went ahead and loaded Windows 7 on the system, just to get back up and running a bit, but can't get any updates to work with that.
