    Windows 10 will not open links in websites, including photos and other links.


    Since the download of the Updates, I get "Unable to open http" on any links. When are you going to correct this issue? Should I expect it to be fixed in the next update?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    • Dose this problem occur on a particular website or all the links you try to open from Outlook?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you reset Microsoft Edge. Kindly refer to the steps below:

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Click on More options […].
    • Click on Settings.
    • Click on ‘Choose what to clear’.
    • Select all of them and click on Clear all.

    Control plus link does not open the new website

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    • As you have mentioned that when you press ctrl and click on the link site opens but does not display, do you get any error message?
    I have tried executing the same thing by pressing the ctrl key and clicking on the link, the sites opens and displays the content on the website. So I suggest you to try once again and check if it helps.
