Windows 10: Windows 10, Win + Shift + S not functioning properly

I recently upgraded my PC to Windows 10 and on every Win 10 PC I've encountered Win + Shift + S opens Snip and Sketch, however on my computer it opens the Snipping tool, and a strange twist to this is both Windows + Shift + S will open this, AND Left Shift + S. So I'll be attempting to capitalize an S when typing out a message and the Snipping tool pops open.


All around this is very annoying, I prefer the new Snip and Sketch, and would like to use my left shift key occasionally and not be stuck using the right one all the time but I'm a bit stumped, google searches, and poking through settings I've been coming up blank. Any suggestions?

Update, I just discovered that win + right shift + s = snip and sketch, left shift + s = Snipping tool. How do I turn off snipping tool on left shift + s, and make win + left shift + s do the same as right shift? Thank you in advance for any advice!

Shift keys aren't functioning or working properly

I have been using my laptop for 4 yrs, it didn't have this issue until i boot it up the shift key isn't working or even functioning basic stuff like doing the at symbol isn't working, tried to turn of sticky keys on and off changing the format all things
that suggests but nothing works i tried to check my keyboard ribbons they all are neatly placed none of them are out or anything, my keyboard is Standard Ps/2 Keyboard i'm on windows 7 64bit SP-1 Other Keys function properly but the shift is not, it's really
irritating. Please reply fast or give a non existence solution that can actually works
