Windows 10: windows 10 win+v clipboard never loads

I will start this off with context of how I came upon the problem, skip the paragraph below if you want to start from the problem.Recently I was troubleshooting my printer because it wasn't printing even with new ink cartridges. One of the steps I took through the troubleshooting process was to do win+r and run "printui.exe /s", go to drives, and remove my deskjet 2600 drivers. One thing I probably shouldn't have done is when removing it initially it didn't work when I picked the "Remove driver only" option so I picked the "Remove driver and driver package" option and it worked but the driver

Hi, you could try clearing clipboard history as a first step:

as shown in this tutorial: Clear Clipboard Data in Windows 10 There are more tutorials on clipboard history in... the Tutorials section. And you'll find links to some more below the main text. Otherwise, it's possible Win key + H has been reallocated, or the actual clipboard history feature is corrupt. If no joy, try creating a new user for test purposes and try c. history when logged in as that user.

 

Windows Clipboard's "Win+V" problem

Ever since 20H2 (maybe before?), my 'Win+V' key malfunctions. It shows a transparent window with nothing in it (no Clipboard icon and no history of recent clips), and then disappears totally a minute later. The Event Viewer does show this message without any suggestion on how to correct the problem: The Clipboard User Service_b1ee0d4 service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3 time(s). I should mention that I am still able to cut and paste so the Clipboard Service is still functioning, just not the 'Win+V' key combo. I'm running Win10 Pro version 21H1 and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Turn On or Off Clipboard History in Windows 10
