Windows 10: Windows 10 windows defender not turning on, no other anti-virus installed

I'm having the same problem as many others, and I'm getting pretty frustrated with Windows 10 overall starting to really miss Windows 7.

I'm using a desktop computer, so obviously I have no use for airplane mode. yet the operating system forces the feature on me, and now I can't turn it off. When I slide it to off, it pops right back over to on.

I've looked at all the solutions thus far press Fn + F2, Fn + PrintScrn, etc.. Nothing works. If I boot into safe mode with networking, I can indeed access the Internet. However, when I boot normally, no luck; airplane mode is stuck on. I've tried a selective startup and eliminated all the nonessential startup items; still no luck. My computer is now worthless from a business perspective because I can't access the Internet or my home network no email, no nothing -- all because of a feature that has no place in a desktop environment in the first place.

Microsoft, I really don't need a stock answer "Go to settings," etc.. I need a solution. And fast.

The inability to turn on Windows Defender 8/10 is typically the result of having a third-party anti-virus installed or failure to remove it properly (completely). Since Windows 8/10 Defender includes anti-virus protection, it is
disabled during the installation of another anti-virus program. If a trial anti-virus (i.e. McAfee, Norton, etc) came
preinstalled on your computer or you installed one, Windows Defender will be turned off (disabled). Windows Defender recognizes the install and automatically disables itself when other anti-virus products are used
to avoid conflicts. Windows Defender will remain disabled until that anti-virus software has been completely uninstalled. In some cases, you may need to download and run the anti-virus vendor's clean up tool to remove any remaining

After removal of the third party anti-virus, Windows 8/10 Defender needs to be
activated if you choose to use it. When uninstalling the third-party anti-virus Defender should automatically turn itself on but sometimes you may receive a message indicating
your system has no protection...click here to turn on Windows Defender. If not, and Defender remains disabled, you will need to manually turn it on.

How to turn on Window Defender virus protection.

I installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Now my Windows Defender is turned off. I need the virus protection but am unable to turn on Defender virus protection. I am using Windows 10. Any suggestions?

 

How to scan anti-virus with windows Defender?

For windows 10, I would like to know on how to scan anti-virus with windows Defender, when I select a file and right click, there is no anti-virus for scanning for windows defender and how to make windows defender update automatically?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
